We have seven weekly sessions that are as follows:
Tuesday: Classes in English for 2nd through 8th grade students preparing for first Eucharist. First year and second year students who prefer English attend this session.
One special needs class. Placement in the special needs class is based on the results of school testing. This is a two-year program.
Wednesday: High school students in first and second year of preparation for the Sacrament of Confirmation. The language of these classes depends on the linguistic ability of our catechists. Some classes are presented in English others bi-lingual, others in Spanish.
Thursday: Adults looking to complete their Sacraments of initiation. The majority of our adults are also looking to enter or validate their marriage in the Church. The adults wishing to start the process need to have a meeting with the Faith Formation director before registration.
RCIC: Those children of elementary school age who are not baptized are placed in the RCIC process. After a two-year process they are Baptized, Confirmed and receive First Eucharist at the Easter vigil at the end of their second year.
Fridays: 2nd to 8th graders preparing for First Eucharist. These classes are conducted in Spanish. One class at Villa Fenix apartments with 2 to 4 grade students.
Saturdays: The 8am and 10am sessions are for 2nd through 8th graders preparing for First Eucharist.
